If something seems wrong
If the answers are not what you expect, go through these steps. First, check the calculation for mistakes. Second, check the mode: MODE 1, COMP, is the one for general calculations. Third, press ON: the calculator checks itself, and if it finds a problem, it resets the mode and clears the memories. Fourth, reset the settings with SHIFT, 9, 1 and =. And if you are used to an older calculator, where everything is typed on one line, choose linear display in the SET UP menu.
