Order of operations

Order of operations

The calculator follows the standard order of operations, shown here from first to last. Brackets always come first. Then fractions; functions written after the number, such as x2\displaystyle x^{2} and factorial; powers and roots; a number times a memory; functions written before the number, such as sin⁡\displaystyle \sin; a number times a function; nPr and nCr; then multiplication and division; then addition and subtraction; then the logic operations AND, OR, XOR and XNOR; and finally = and the other keys that end a calculation. That is why, in 45+285÷3\displaystyle 45 + 285 \div 3, the division is done first.
