The display

The display is a dot-matrix display with 4 lines. Small symbols along the top tell you the state of the calculator. LCD:2ndF appears after the 2nd F key, LCD:HYP after the hyp key, and LCD:ALPHA after the ALPHA key. LCD:FIX SCI ENG N1 N2 is the number format, and LCD:DEG RAD GRAD is the angle unit. LCD:W-VIEW means that the WriteView editor is on. LCD:M means that the independent memory holds a number. LCD:BUSY appears during a long calculation. LCD:← → ↑ ↓ mean that more is hidden in that direction.
