A mixed number

Calculate $\displaystyle 4 - 3\frac{1}{2}$. For a mixed number there is a special box: the yellow label above the fraction key. Type 4, press , then and the . Type the whole number 3, press , type 1 on top, press , and type 2 below. Press : the answer is $\displaystyle \dfrac{1}{2}$.
