Four functions of the MATH menu

On the plane, the argument is the angle of the arrow: for $\displaystyle 2 + 3i$ it is about $\displaystyle 56^{\circ}$. In COMPLEX mode, the MATH menu has four functions. First press , , for rectangular answers. Number 0 is the conjugate: press , , then 5, , 2, the , , and : 5. −2.i. Number 1 is the argument: press , , then 2, , 3, the , , : 56.30993247 degrees. Number 2 is the real part: press , , then 15, , the , 30, , : 12.99038106. Number 3 is the imaginary part: press , , then 15, , the , 30, , : 7.5.
